David Longoria

David Longoria has been playing the trumpet since he was 10 years old. He has been performing dance music and creating new blends of genres as long as he's been producing records. Working with a wide variety of artists from Gospel great Andrae Crouch, Marvin Gaye, Sting, Ottmar Liebert, Chris Standring, to Blues legend BB King, David has crossed generational and cultural lines, breaking new territory for each new release. His duet with Dance diva Cece Peniston called "Deeper Love" topped the US Billboard dance music charts and his unique blend of trumpet led instrumentals with current EDM (electronic dance music) resulted in the runaway hit "Zoon Baloomba". This top 20s Billboard hit made Billboard Magazine history as it was the first trumpet instrumental to become a hit since icon Herb Alpert did it with "Rise" 30 years earlier. David's TV Special "BAILA!" has been seen all over the USA on Public TV/PBS stations. It still airs this year and can also be viewed online at http://pbsspecials.org His single "Go For It! (Dalé!)" was the 2014 Brazil World Cup Official Victory song, playing worldwide many times during the Soccer World Cup last year.

David Longoria's upcoming album "The Journey" will be released in September. The leading single "Angels" is now starting in the clubs and is quickly gathering momentum. The official music video will be released in July. The new album has many powerful surprises including a follow up to Michael Jackson & Lionel Richie's iconic hit "We Are The World" 30 years later and takes on modern day issues of racial unity. The song includes more than 400 artists of all genres singing together.
